USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
CTL and CTIL do not pass on, sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal information, including email address and contact details, to third parties. We will only release account particulars and other personal information if we believe that release of same is appropriate to comply with law; facilitate court proceedings; apply or enforce our Terms and Conditions; or protect the rights, property, or safety of CTL or CTIL, our website users, or others.
COOKIE TIME LIMITED AND CHRISTMAS COOKIES
From time to time Cookie Time Limited will run promotions, including the Christmas Cookies campaign, whereby customer details will be required for communications. To enable this customer details will be added to the Christmas Cookies and cookiebar.co.nz databases. Your contact information may be used to contact you if necessary, while demographic information may be used in order to provide you with special offers relevant to your location, see the Member Emails section below for more information on this.
If you purchase product from cookiebar.co.nz, you will be registered as a member of cookiebar.co.nz, and will be asked to nominate a user name and password, and provide an email address and contact information. Our membership registration form may also require demographic information. Your contact information may be used to contact you if necessary, while demographic information may be used in order to provide you with special offers relevant to your location, see the Member Emails section below for more information on this.
Updating your personal information
Your personal information can be viewed in your member account/profile page at cookiebar.co.nz and you can amend your personal data via this page, including changing your email address, delivery address, phone number and password.
If you wish to cancel your member registration to our website for any reason, simply send us an email requesting this. This will also unsubscribe you from our database.
Delivery address details
CTIL enables you to save multiple delivery addresses, which we will store against your member account/profile. When you buy an item you will have the option to select one of these delivery addresses, or to enter a new delivery address and save this to your profile/account page.
CTIL will send emails to cookiebar.co.nz members to document online shopping purchases and, from time to time, to notify of special deals in relation to the website. In addition CTIL may send out emails promoting related products and services, including Cookie Time Limited and Christmas Cookies as well as retail store information. Member emails may also be sent in order to respond to any questions or comments you have sent us; to help monitor, develop or improve the website; to investigate any complaints relating to misuse of the website or breach of terms and conditions; to send you reminders; technical notices, security alerts, administrative messages, service bulletins and requested information; and to communicate and provide any additional information about us that we deem of interest to our members.
If you prefer not to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe from our database by using the link at the bottom of any emails you receive, or you can unsubscribe via your member account/profile page or by sending us an email with the word ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.
We only send emails to our member database that we deem of interest to our members, as set out in the Member Emails section above. We do not pass on, sell, rent or otherwise provide your email address to third parties. In the event that you believe you have received spam email that is not a genuine Cookie Muncher Cookie Bar communication, or an email where you believe your email address has been obtained via cookiebar.co.nz, please contact us so that we can investigate further.
Control of your password
Credit Card security
We work diligently to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information. Your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via cookiebar.co.nz; all transactions are processed through a secure payment service provider. CTIL uses Paystation payment gateway (PPG), one of New Zealand’s leading online payment solutions to provide this service. PPG hosts and manages our website payment page. All transaction sessions are stored and processed in encrypted strings.
We’re all about cookies as delicious, scrumptious treats. In the web context, however, cookies are also the ‘technical’ name given to small pieces of information that are stored in a browser-related file on your computer's hard drive in order to improve the user experience. Cookies are widely used on most major websites.
We mostly use ‘session’ cookies, which are removed from your computer 20 minutes after you leave cookie.bar.co.nz. If you choose, a second cookie can be placed on your computer for our website to remember you. This cookie is intended to remain permanently. These are used so our website can remember that you have logged in already and prevent you doing so again. They can also be used to nominate that the website always remembers your password or keep you logged in.
Other information we collect

This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our website or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our website or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address.
If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails, live chats or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on our website, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
Access and removal of information
You have the right to access, change and delete personal data that you provide to us in becoming a member of cookiebar.co.nz. Please refer to the Updating your personal information section or email us.
