Cookie Time Limited is proud to support the Cookie Time Charitable Trust, a registered charitable trust established in 2003. Since then, close to $1.5 million has been raised to help Kiwi kids discover their gifts, with a donation from sales of Christmas Cookies each year providing an annual funding boost.
The Trust is very much the focus of our cause marketing and, as such, we have no separate sponsorship monies available. Therefore, we’ll give a polite “thanks, but no thanks” up front here to save you time and effort in putting together a proposal only to get the same response down the track. If you had planned to contact us about sponsorship, we do wish you all the best with your endeavour. If you would like to know a bit more about the work of our Trust, please read on below.
The Trust supports many initiatives across three target areas: innovation in learning, thinking differently and physical pursuits. Highlights include funding the establishment and ongoing work of Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand, with official government recognition for dyslexia achieved in 2007. Support from the Trust has also seen the DFNZ launch the 4D programme to help schools make positive changes for students with dyslexia and other learning differences. And the Trust also helped fund the Dyslexia Discovery Exhibit at 21 Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch.
Innovation in learning has been supported through eTime, a business established in partnership with the Trust to enable innovative use of ICT with programmes for primary and intermediate students and professional development for teachers. And a variety of unique smaller grants have supported physical pursuits, including sponsorship for a young Kiwi ballet star to train at a legendary Russian ballet school.
